Our Story
The word "Ufumi" means weaving - a symbol of bringing people, cultures, and opportunities together. Every product is handmade by skilled women artisans whose craftsmanship has been passed down through generations.
Many of these women come from communities with limited employment opportunities, including Turkana, Kajiado, Machakos, Kibera, Mukuru, and other underserved regions across Kenya. Through Ufumi, their traditional skills become sustainable businesses that support families, educate children, and strengthen communities.
